As we grow, we learn to become leaders. Being a leader is natural for some, and learned for others. No matter how we have become a leader, it is important to remember we must lead ourselves before we lead others. Take the time to motivate yourself and realize that you can do it. Some say the path towards self improvement is a lonely one, to which I always recommend that you practice writing down your thoughts, no matter how far fetched they may appear. Doing so enables you to have a conversation with your past and future self. You’ll find that it helps to remove the looping thoughts in your mind by creating a journal entry dedicated to the thoughts that occupy your brain. Overtime you’ll find that committing it to paper will help you identify a solution or patterns of conflict that may not be readily visible floating within your mind alone.
Another helpful exercise is clipping images from magazines and pasting them to a board to help you visualize the desired outcome of all your sweat equity.
What does your vision board say to you!?
– Today is the beginning of anything you want!
– I want to do more than just earn a living
– I want to live independently of worldly events
– I want the freedom to come and go as I please
– I attract Wealth, Success & Prosperity
– I want to make my friends and family proud of my life choices
– I want to do more than just lose weight
– I am thankful for all that I have, have had, and will have
– My ideas add value and it’s time for people to know it
– I want to get out of my own way and take my hobbies/interests seriously
– I want to BE on my purpose
– I want a team to collaborate with to help my vision come to light
