Back in ’98 I attended a week long off-site diversity training exercise that helped me see the issues that most of us carry from the playground up until our last breath on earth. The program was designed to immerse all participants into “The other persons shoes” or point of view. It was called G.R.A.P.E.S which stood for Gender, Racial, Age, Physical handicaps, Emotional distress and Sexual orientation. Each day, we as a group (community) had to roll play, discuss issues in a circle or witness from outside the group and evaluate the emotional response to the outcome of an exercise. Needless to say, my take away was it’s easy to pass judgement on others while turning a blind eye to whatever that person can be dealing with.

It gives me pleasure to introduce my “Business Leader on the Move” spotlight to Ms. Angine Moss. She is definitely on the path to making a difference in her community through exercising the same disciplines reminiscent of the diversity training program I feel many people can benefit from. She’s using her platform to help her audience feel comfortable with themselves. Her mission is to empower and provide a resource to help professional woman overcome the issues that prevent them from growing in their career and home life, both spiritually and intellectually.

Angine is an entrepreneur, founder and president of ACM Group, Inc., a cleaning company that has made a name for itself within South Florida. ACM Group, Inc. has more than a decade of service, reliability and integrity in construction clean-up, janitorial service and hoarding clearing and cleaning. Angine’s grassroots approach begins with offering employment opportunities to persons within the very communities in which she lives, works and plays.

Angine is also the founder and vice-president of Hosanna4Youth.org, a 501(C)3 organization dedicated to serving the needs of youth who are considered at-risk within our communities. Also, Angine is the past president of National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter. She passionately contributes time and talent to efforts and causes such as cancer prevention, AIDS awareness and more.

Angine is the mother of two, one daughter and one son. Her pride and joy comes from being a grandmother to her two beautiful grandchildren. Angine is a Fort Lauderdale resident and is the healthy community zone liaison for Broward Municipal Service District. She enjoys outdoor activities and is a people person.

Angine is a passionate, outspoken, motivational speaker and her community activity has positioned her as a thought leader and go-to person for aspiring women on a path of self-improvement.
